Sundar is a well established artist in the Lake District where her paintings have gained popularity as they are painted in a distinctive style and use vibrant colours. Her exhibitions have received much publicity and have been well written up in the Press and the Radio.
She had 12 exhibitions in the past 10 years and toured her work two years ago. Her paintings were shown at the Portico, the Waterside Arts Centre, Sale, Keswick Museum and Art Gallery and the Gracefields Arts Centre as a part of her tour.
Last year during her residency she showed her paintings at the Hasta International Gallery at Mangalore and Hyderabad and sold most of her limited ed. Prints of the Lake District.
She has been doing figurative work as a part of her training with the well-known Sculptor Mr. Alan Ward and also working in clay. She likes crearting textural work and the three D sculptural aspects appeal to her. Currently, her work and style have undergone a dramatic change and she is painting using mainly red and black colours.
