With a Dutch degree in Art and Education, the art and illustration artist Nicole Cijs feels inspired by magical, fantastic and symbolic themes.

The imaginary world intrigues her enormously, which can clearly be found in her work. Her style characterises itself by a continuous search for new techniques and combinations between them and has a collage feel to it. She specialises in digital art and pencil drawings.

The result is a journey of exploration, where you keep finding new ways in looking at her work. Next to colour pencil she works with: pastels, photos, airbrush and digital software such as Photoshop.

Nicole Cijs is also the driving force behind design studio Darth Design. They offer a multi-disciplinary design service that specialises in: Art and Illustration, Graphic Design, Web Design and New Media.
